Why Are Truck Accidents Different?

Trucks are bigger and less maneuverable than cars. They take up more space on the road. And they travel more on roads with higher speed limits.

What does this mean? Trucks have less time to hit the brakes. They have to work in narrower spaces than cars. The speed of the average truck accident is higher than the average car accident, and the truck is going to strike your car with greater force.

In a word: trucks are more likely – if everything else is equal – to have accidents, they are more likely to hurt you, and they are more likely to hurt you bad.

That’s the human side. But truck accidents are also different than car accidents because they have different consequences. More often than not, a person injured in a truck accident will have a different experience from a person experiencing identical injuries in a car accident.

I am dedicated to getting money for my clients who have been injured in truck accidents.

I have been a lawyer over 30 years. I have represented people hurt by trucks, with good results. If you’ve been hurt by a truck, talk with an experienced Cincinnati Truck Accident Lawyer about the case. Call me, William Strubbe, at 513-621-4775.

Because all situations are different, and because there may be other facts pertaining to your case that I don’t know about, you should not rely on this answer for legal advice. I am not your attorney, and no lawyer client relationship has been formed.
